Why consider Canterbury & The Festival Players Guild?
With its over forty-year history, the Canterbury Summer Theatre has an
established record of quality and success. Among Canterbury alumni are
current television stars and Tony Award(TM) nominees and winners. In addition,
our proximity to Chicago and the fact that many company members (both
current and former) are active in the Chicago area as actors, directors,
writers, and producers, can be advantageous to those wanting to become
established in the theatre community there. Furthermore, if you are looking
to play a variety of roles and expand your resume, our season of productions
